Purpose

Purpose

Did you know that the idea of #purpose for a company is not a new concept (how naïve of me)? In fact, it's been around for decades! I just started reading a bestseller from 1994, 'Built to Last' by Collins and Porras, and was pleased to find that the concept of #purpose was crystal clear in the very first pages (I suspect the concept will be expanded through the book, I’ll keep you posted).

The importance of having a clear and well-defined purpose for a company, something that goes beyond just making money. A purpose-driven company has a reason for being, a #mission that #inspires and #motivates its employees, and a set of #values that guide its decisions and actions.

As we navigate through these challenging times, it's more important than ever for companies to have a clear sense of purpose. When employees understand the #why behind their work, they are more engaged, committed, and productive. And when customers align with a company's purpose, they are more likely to become loyal #advocates.

So let's take a page out of 'Built to Last' and remember the importance of purpose in building a #successful and #sustainable company.
